Relax: It Will All Get Better, The Democrats Won!

The election is over and the Democrats won. They won big time, taking both houses of congress and several state governors and state houses. AND, best of all, Donald Rumsfeld has resigned. It doesn't get any better than that!

So, just kick back, grab a glass of wine and RELAX. Things will get better in this country, and soon.

In fact, with Rummy's resignation, I predict that within weeks we will be hearing about how things are getting better in Iraq. Reported violence, while it might remain high, will no longer be the main focus of the MSM reportage. In fact, many of the good news stories we have noted here in the past, will now find their way into the MSM, now that the Democrats have resumed their rightful leadership of our nation.

Never mind that George W Bush is still President, and will be for the next two years, the Democrats are now in charge! All is right with the world!

And the economy is about to improve! The worst economy in the last fifty years, the worst economy since the great depression, the President with the worst jobs record in the history of the nation, is about to get a boost. you see, the Democrats are now in charge!

Soon, maybe even before the new congress is sworn in this coming January, the economy will suddenly explode. That pitiful 4.4 unemployment figure that GWB presided over: bringing the nation back from brink of the 911 attacks and the economic meltdown brought on by the dotcom bubble, the Clinton recession and the Global Crossings/Enron/Worldcom/Tyco scandals; will suddenly come to have meaning, as the jobs promised the nation by the ascension of the Democratic Party to their rightful station, will be high-paying, good jobs, not those low-paying bad jobs that President Bush's policies promoted. The 3.3% increase in real wages the nation has seen over the last couple of years will seem paltry as the Democratic majority raises everyone's wages through huge minimum wage increases. At the top pay scale in my job, I know I can hardly wait to have the floor raised!

In all likelihood, homelessness will cease to be a problem in this nation, although, until a Republican President is no longer in office, the entire eradication of homelessness is unlikely.

On a grander scale, the entire world will benefit from this momentous achievement. The crisis in Darfur will cease, because the Democrats are now in power. We have all seen the ads on our television screens for the past months telling us of the terrible rapes and murders happening (under UN scrutiny) in Darfur. If we see such an ad after the Democrat majority is sworn in this January, I will be terribly surprised. That issue should be solved by their very existance.
No, my friends, we have nothing to fear, because the Democrats are now in charge in Washington, and throughout the country!

So, like I said before, RELAX! Kick back, and have a glass of wine. Enjoy the rest of the evening!

THEN, BEGINNING TOMORROW, LET'S ALL GET OFF OUR FAT A**ES AND START WORK TO FIND THE CANDIDATES TO TAKE BACK BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS IN 2008, AND ELECT A CONSERVATIVE PRESIDENT!
